We are quite excited about the program for the TMSA 2014 Winter Symposium on Saturday, February 1st.  “Mindfulness:  Changing Your Life, In and Out of the Classroom” with Dr. Bauback Yeganeh – an international speaker and skilled facilitator on strengths-based change methodologies and cognitive-behavioral coaching.  He is the founder and principal consultant of Everidian (www.everidian.com).   The flyer with information for the symposium is attached.  Due to limited participation, it is suggested that you register as soon as possible.  A wait list will be created on the registration e-mail.  There is limited parking space.  Car Pooling is suggested. This meeting will focus on the Winter Symposium details, the 2014 Fall Symposium, the Dave Carman Scholarship, the Montessori Association of North Carolina, and TMSA Sustainability.  Please e-mail Betsy for any additional items.  NOTE the time change which has been made to hopefully accommodate those unable to attend morning meetings.  E-mail Betsy if you are able/unable to attend.

Since we have not received any applications for this opportunity, we have extended the deadline for the Dave Carman Music Scholarship to Tuesday, January 14th.  We would encourage all schools to take a few minutes to apply for this.  (Application attached)
