Seeking Early Childhood Coach

teacher coach
We are looking for an experienced early childhood Montessori-certified person who would be interested in coaching a new teacher for the coming school year. The coach would be working with a motivated, smart, novice teacher who will very likely be pursuing her elementary training this year in preparation for migrating to our elementary program when we open our next classroom. This teacher has an MAT in elementary education, served as the assistant in the classroom last year, and has taken Montessori assistant training class.
This position would be ideal for someone who is retired or has taken some time off and would like to stay engaged. This person would need to be a strong coach/trainer/adult educator in addition to being an experienced, talented teacher. If you know of someone who would be a great resource for us, please have them contact me directly via email (abailey @ imsnc.org) or cell (678-516-7018).

TMSA wishes Betsy Lovejoy a Farewell

TMSA founding member and consummate Montessorian Betsy Lovejoy was honored on April 27th, 2016 at Goji’s Bistro in Cary during her final TMSA dinner as acting head of TMSA.  Betsy will remain active in the Montessori community, but in the short term will enjoy travel and time with her beautiful grandchildren.  MSR HOS, Nancy Errichetti, presented Betsy a beautiful gift on behalf of the TMSA organization.   On Betsy’s last official day as head, her request was for all Montessori schools in the Triangle to join international peace efforts to create a global movement for peace.   More on Peace opportunities.

Introducing Amazing Athletes

skills-1000x315
We are excited about a new physical education offering to Triangle schools called Amazing Athletes.  Ms. Caroline offers a number of different sports’ fundamental skills as well as nutrition awareness and more.  She serves Toddlers through Elementary students.  We encourage you to have her give your school a free demo–we did and the students enjoyed it very much.  We’re excited to have parents register their students for this dynamic and varied sports program that is held during school hours.
